Hi!

I just want to say that I am pleased your website exists as it feels like there are so few forums or places of expression for Jews in the diapora who want the Isarel to stop.

I am absolutely horrifies that people who support Israels actions are calling themselves "Friends of Israel", as if to imply that those of us who do not want to see Israel charged with war crimes in The Hague are somehow the enemies of Israel.I love Israel and do want her to be tainted as an occupier any longer.

I had non-jewish friends who demonstrated in support of the Palestian people on Saturday.I did not go with them because of bad experiences at similar rallies I have been to before. These rallies gather people together people like my friends - who are there for humanitaian reasons, and those who genuinely hate Israel. I tend to feel terrible for weeks afterwards.

But what should I do instead? Well, I spent all day reading different views to find out what is going on. There are so many different views. Are Hamas using human sheilds or not? Well it seems that there is evidence ( unless it has been faked ) that they are. But then - so what - if Israel knows that this is going on then that is even more reason to find an alternative strategy.

The more I think about it - the more I cannot see any other way forward than for Israel to talk to Hamas.

The world should listen to this wise Israeli
